A fun, visual activity to use when learning about contractions.
This resource would be great to use in a small group when learning about contractions and how they are made by combining two words using an apostrophe.
To make this resource, select and download the font you choose. Print on cardstock and cut out the strips.
Students will fold along the dotted line to create an accordion effect. Then fold and unfold to explore how to combine two words using an apostrophe.
Use the blank strips to show other contractions your students are learning.
