Practise dividing two-digit by one-digit numbers with a Dot Day tarsia puzzle.

Looking for Fun Division Practise Worksheets?

You’re in the right place! We’ve assembled an exciting new tarsia puzzle for your students to practice dividing two-digit by one-digit numbers.

What is a Tarsia Puzzle?

Have you heard of Tarsia puzzles? They’re a fun and interactive way to help students understand mathematical concepts! Tarsia puzzles are jigsaw puzzles, but instead of just creating a picture, you put together pieces that contain equations or other mathematical representations to form a larger figure or design. These puzzles reinforce understanding and promote problem-solving skills, making maths class more fun!

Create ‘Well-Rounded’ Math Centers with Tarsia Puzzles

It’s almost Dot Day! You’ve got to drop in some dot-based fun in all subject areas! This tarsia puzzle features 16 individual pieces, each with multiple 2-digit divided by 1-digit division problems. Students will colour and cut apart the pieces, then solve the puzzle by matching equations and answers to form a circle.

Your students will love this new practice activity, or should we say they’ll “have a ball” with it?

This resource is available in multiple formats to meet your needs. We have included a quick-print PDF and editable Google Slides resource file. Use the dropdown arrow on the download button to select your preferred file.
