Are Word Searches Beneficial? Absolutely!
There has been a debate about whether or not word searches are helpful for kids. Some think that word searches are not effective in improving critical thinking, problem-solving, and language skills as they are considered a passive activity. They also argue that word searches are not helpful in improving vocabulary or spelling skills because children are only looking for words they already know. However, this is not true! When word searches are used properly and for academic purposes, they can be beneficial for students.
